- Opening of the exhibition “Society Under Pressure” in the entrance area of the pavilions, featuring works by Prof. Guido Kühn (Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Christian Fischer (Fulda University of Applied Sciences), and Patricia Kühn-Meisenheimer (sculptor). The group is exhibiting prints, photo prints, video art, and interactive installations. July 12 through August 30, 2026. Opening reception: Introduction by Prof. Christian Fischer. Sunday, July 12, 2026, 3:00 p.m. Admission is free for the opening reception. Regular admission applies on other days the museum is open.
- Museum Festival on the museum grounds Featuring small workshops at the art school and guided tours of the redesigned permanent exhibition. Introduction: Prof. Dr. Johannes Sander, research associate at the Institute of Art History in Würzburg. Refreshments including coffee, cake, and beverages. Sunday, July 19, 2026, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. First guided tour: 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Second guided tour: 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Free admission. Registration for the guided tours is required at museum-modern-art@huenfeld.de; group size: 3 to 20 people.

- Opening of the special exhibition: “THERE IS NO TRUTH – Perception in the Post-Internet Age” featuring works by Antonio Marra in the main building. The exhibition will offer a comprehensive overview ranging from his early works to his most recent pieces. The presentation not only takes a retrospective approach but also allows visitors to experience the continuous evolution of his exploration of perception, perspective, and visual reality. September 27 through January 9, 2027. Opening Reception: Introduction by Antonio Marra, followed by refreshments including coffee, cake, and beverages. Sunday, September 27, 2026, 3:00 p.m. Admission is free for the opening reception. Regular admission applies on other days the exhibition is open.
- Exhibition “Roter Faden” featuring works by students from the Wigbertschule (classes 6d and Q3), by Dr. Anja Dorst and Ms. Agata Szymanowska-Liebeck in the entrance area of the pavilions. “Roter Faden” explores the in-between—transitions, connections, and open-ended processes—in experimental artistic works by young people, linked by a common element. September 13 through November 8, 2026. Opening reception: Welcome and introduction by Dr. Anja Dorst and Ms. Agata Szymanowska-Liebeck.
